Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking or using any service provided by Autofay Surveying & Appraisal Services L.L.C S.O.C ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Services

Autofay provides pre-purchase vehicle inspection services across the UAE. Our inspections are conducted by trained technicians and are designed to provide an independent assessment of a vehicle's condition at the time of inspection.

  • Inspections are visual and functional assessments only. We do not disassemble components.
  • Results reflect the vehicle's condition at the time and date of the inspection.
  • Our reports are advisory in nature and do not constitute a guarantee or warranty of the vehicle.

3. Booking and Payment

  • Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
  • Prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
  • We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard (via Stripe), and bank transfers.
  • Online card payments are processed securely via Stripe.
  • Payment is due upon completion of the inspection unless otherwise agreed.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled inspection: full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled inspection: no refund.
  • Rescheduling is permitted with at least 24 hours' notice at no additional charge.
  • If the vehicle is not available at the agreed time and location, the booking may be forfeited.

5. Limitation of Liability

Autofay's inspection reports are based on visual and functional checks conducted by qualified technicians. We are not liable for:

  • Defects or issues that were not visible or detectable at the time of inspection.
  • Any loss, damage, or expense arising from your reliance on the inspection report.
  • Any decision made regarding the purchase or non-purchase of a vehicle.

Our maximum liability in any case is limited to the fee paid for the inspection service.

6. Inspection Access

The customer or the vehicle seller is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is accessible, drivable (where required), and available at the agreed location and time. Autofay reserves the right to decline or terminate an inspection if access is refused or conditions are unsafe.

7. Intellectual Property

All inspection reports, content, and materials produced by Autofay are the intellectual property of Autofay. Reports are for the personal use of the customer who commissioned them and may not be resold or redistributed.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE. Autofay is a registered trade name of Autofay Surveying & Appraisal Services L.L.C S.O.C, License No. 1555610, issued by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
